| Welcome to the Public Beta for Novell Client 2.0 for SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 SP1. This version of the Client supports AMD64 and Intel EM64T CPUs in 64–bit mode (x86-64) on SLED 10 SP1.The Novell® Clientâ„¢ for Linux* 2.0 workstation software extends the capabilities of Linux desktops by providing access to NetWare® and Open Enterprise Server (OES). When it is installed on workstations, the Client enables users to enjoy the full range of Novell services such as authentication via Novell’s eDirectoryâ„¢, network browsing and service resolution, and secure and reliable file system access. The Client supports Novell’s traditional NCPâ„¢ protocol.
IMPORTANT:The Novell Client 2.0 for SLED 10 SP1 beta download images ( Novell_Client_SLED10-i386-2007809-CD1.iso and Novell_Client_SLED10-x86_64-2007809-CD1.iso) are for installation on SLED 10 SP1 systems only.
